There are several ways and departure points to get to Tangier Island. Most visitors use one of the five Cruise boats (see below). If you would like to bring your own boat to Tangier, there is always plenty of docking space available for our valued guests. Please call for current dock fees.
During the winter, hunters and visitors, alike, come to Tangier via the Mail Boat "Courtney Thomas" or the "Sharon Kay III". The Sharon Kay III is the only boat that runs on Sunday during the Off Season and she transports passengers year round to and from Tangier 7 days a week, call 757 891 2440. If you plan to visit us; please make reservations with the boat of your choice.
